Speaker Request Management


The Wharton Speaker Request Management system is changing! A new system is currently in beta-testing, for an anticipated launch date of Spring 2021. This new system streamlines the approval process, allows for increased communication regarding speaker invitations, and removes many of the duplicated speakers from the current system. As we prepare for the launch of the new system in Spring 2021, some non-critical functionality may be lost in this current system.

At this time, we are experience a number of issues with student and department organizations. If your student group, department or program office is not listed, please select Penn Club-General or None, and manual enter your specific group in the "Additional Event Logistics and or Details field."

The Wharton School Speaker Policy

Each speaker that a group, club, department, or individual wishes to invite to a Wharton event, whether on campus or off-site, must be approved by The Wharton School Marketing & Communications Department (and in certain cases by the University) before any invitation is extended. Each speaker request must be submitted using the school-wide Speaker Request Management System, found on this page. Please allot for at least 72 business hours for review.

Failure to abide by this policy may result in loss of Wharton and University resources. Questions or updates regarding your speaker submission should be directed to your appropriate Student Life Office.
